This listing is for a pair of Georgian-style earrings made with large high-quality paste glass Czech rhinestones in a bright Peridot green. This was a popular stone in the Regency era and for good reason. Such a lovely color.
The stones themselves are a large 18x13mm (about 3/4 inch long), so these are bold, statement earrings. See the 5th picture for an example of this size of earring when worn, to get a sense of the size.
These are set in plated cast-brass settings that are the best available option for reproduction Georgian jewelry. Unlike modern earrings, these wires are soldered to the back of the setting itself, just as it was done in the period. These are also great for modern wear because you don't have to worry about them working themselves out of your ear, which I always worry about with larger earrings. These sturdy lever-backs will stay put all day and all night! These can be made in Gold, Silver, Antique Gold, or Antique Silver. They are shown here in Antique Gold.
